I looked at my acceslog and noticed people were reading the sendvims-howto. I did not update this for over a year, so it’s full of mistakes and errors that shouldn’t be there. To avoid confusion, I have checked the latest sendVIMS from the repository, and did some simple patching with it, to test most features.
AFAIK it’s quite bugfree, and my example patches should be self-explanatory.
There’s also a binary package for ubuntu.
Example patches for sendVIMS, a Puredata external for veejay.
Most of this should be self explanatory. There’s also an ubuntu package, if you like.
Sources can be found on the veejay website.
